Greg A. Jennings, born and raised in Owensboro, Kentucky, is a 1988 graduate of the University of Louisville law school. Jennings, received his undergraduate degree in accounting from Western Kentucky University. Jennings clerked for both the late Judge Carl D. Melton with the Henderson Circuit Court, and also for the late Justice Thomas B. Spain with the Kentucky Supreme Court. Jennings, a former prosecutor in Louisville, Kentucky, successfully handled and tried numerous criminal cases. Jennings successfully argued before the Kentucky Supreme Court the property forfeiture case in Commonwealth v. Fint, Ky, 940 S.W.2d 896 (1997). Jennings was later appointed General Counsel to the Kentucky Department of Financial Institutions and thereafter was named Director of the Division of Minerals Resource Taxation and GIS with the Kentucky Department of Revenue. Jennings has given numerous presentations on a wide variety of topics ranging from banking, workers’ compensation, taxation, and insurance. Jennings is admitted to practice law in both Kentucky and Indiana as well as the federal courts in both Kentucky and Indiana. Jennings lives in Louisville, Kentucky and has an active law practice in Western and Central Kentucky.
